Preselection: categories 1-5

Out of the 113 works submitted for online evaluation between August 23rd and September 11th, the jury selected 40 – without making any changes to the competition categories and without announcing at this stage the list of nominations.
These 40 works will be part of the competition’s exhibition, which will open on October 7th at Libertății Square in Timișoara. In addition, the selected works will have the opportunity to be presented by their authors before the jury, with public.
The public presentation of the selected works aims to facilitate their understanding (from the point of view of their process, decision-making etc.) by the jury (with the purpose of the final evaluation) and by the present public. Details about the presentations will be comunicated on the competition’s website (in the News tab), as well as through emails addressed to the authors of the selected works.

The 40 works are distributed as follows:
Built space: 10
Interior space: 5
Public space: 3
Graduation projects: 11
Initiatives/ Experiments/ Visions in architecture: 11

For more details, please consult the list of the selected works, as well as the evaluation criteria.

Also, we invite you to consult the new website section – Preselection – in which all 113 works are presented.
