The FLADER_ING programme started in 2017 with the PRINTRE LINII project: a series of urban furniture modules placed in the portico of University of Architecture and Urbanism ‘Ion Mincu’. The next step was rejuvenating the university’s inner courtyard. Linked to university’s interior spaces, the courtyard acts as an intermediar space between the first level terrace and the cafeteria’s terrace based at underground level, link made possible through outdoor spiral staircases. The urban furniture modules were built along with university’s students during a workshop begun in the month of January, 2018. The series brings to life two benches reaching the length of 6m, made from laminated timber, with the same cross section of 72x86 cm. This time, the base of these objects is different from the one used for the ones in the university’s portico, using large ceramic blocks, linked together through mechanical joints. During this year’s edition of Street Delivery, b_LOC project hosted events such as cermic workshops and live performances, during the festival days.Text description of the author
