Project description

Located in a suburban area of Timisoara, characterized by multicoloured houses with ground floor + attic, the proposed building seems like a strange object with its white walls and trees, that try to create order between the discontinuous street fronts and calm down the formal incoherence with its horizontal development. The space behind the walls offers intimacy, a state of calmness - being isolated from the exterior noises. The shadows left by the trees animate the interior of the house, each room being alocated its own piece of vegetation.
